Maui Photo Festival and Workshops

The Maui Photo Festival is coming up fast. From August 25th to the 29th, the Hyatt Regency Maui, located in Lahaina, will host this exciting event.

This festival is specific to digital photography, and was designed for all levels of proficiency, from novice to professional. Participants get access to classroom sessions, location shoots, and hands-on demo sessions led by professionals.

What better place to fine tune your camera craft than Maui? This island is a beacon of inspiration for artists of all kinds, some of which come from all over the world to experience that special something that makes Maui such a fantastic place to harness self-expression.

Some optional excursions at the photo festival include a doors-off helicopter shoot and an underwater tour of Turtle Town, just in case you were worried you wouldn't have the opportunity to really get out there and experience Maui at this event. In fact, this is such an interesting opportunity, it should be a great event to participate in whether you are a resident of Maui or you will be here on vacation during that period.

Evenings will involve gathering at an outdoor theater on Kaanapali Beach and viewing work shot that day by the presenting professionals.
